Ausable Forks, New York is located mid-point between Jay and Keeseville, NY. We spell it Ausable rather then Au Sable. If you are an avid softball fan then you may be interested in the fast pitch tournament that is held in Ausable Forks. Let's not forget that Ausable Forks is approximately 12-15 miles from the Olympic Whiteface Mountain for top alpine skiing. The village of Ausable has the Ausable Valley Golf Course built in 1915 with a restaurant and Pro Shop. The village also offers a chain supermarket and is a short hop to the Northway, route 87. During the warmer months the famous Ausable Chasm draws crowds from afar. Also, both the Jay and Ausable region resides within the Ausable School district which boasts outstanding educational and athletic facilities.
