Lake Placid's Real Estate Brokerage exclusively for Buyers
Lake Placid, New York has been my home for more than 33 years. I first moved to Lake Placid in 1982 from New Jersey, and I live the life that many wish to have. I am grateful for the beautiful scenery, the lifestyle and the tightly knit village community which attracts people from all over the world. I raised a son here, and I have regularly maintained that it is the best place to raise children.
As a full-time real estate broker, I have been serving the resort mountain community since 1995. I have proven success in real estate brokerage and have enjoyed solid repeat and referral business. There is no greater compliment that I can think of than that. Last but not least, I simply enjoy real estate. I find it irresistible to see the big smiles of satisfaction on my clients faces who are seeking their piece of the Adirondacks. Regardless if a vacation homeowner or a first-time home buyer, the joy on their faces is priceless as the keys are passed to them. Such a joyous occasion for a well-done job! I have always attempted to be at the highest levels of education in the real estate industry. It was only natural for me also to participate as a member of the Adirondack region's real estate board. As a member of the Northern Adirondack Board of REALTORS® I began as education chairperson and for several years moved through and up the ranks. I served as Secretary of the Association, Vice-President, MLS chairperson, and served two terms as President. Finally, in my sixth year I served as a director and adviser to the new President before retiring. As president, I set forth, and we achieved several important milestones of which I am extremely proud. It took a great deal of hard work and long hours, but the end goals were worth it. That is my work ethic, and that is what I bring to the table for you in real estate.
On a personal note; I have been active in the sport of purebred dogs for nearly 31 years. I actively exhibit, and am an American Kennel Club (AKC) Dog Show Judge for Irish Wolfhounds and Afghan Hounds, which requires me to travel extensively throughout North America. I plan on becoming a Hound Group Specialist and anticipate approvals for multiple other Hound breeds in the near future. I also have been a freelance journalist for The Canine Chronicle, which is a hugely popular, glossy dog magazine with typically 15,000 monthly subscribers. Being well-traveled affords me numerous advantages. Not only but also worldly and interesting, my experiences allow me to connect with my Clients on various levels. Originally from the metropolitan tri-state area as many of my clients are, I have a well-rounded understanding of my client´s particular needs and expectations. Simply, I can relate to them on a much more personal basis. As a result, I am significantly more useful and valuable to my clients in which their trust is well-placed, and I get the job done right with a little inconvenience and minimal stress as possible.
It´s all about making clients for life...
